Maxxis Rekon Race Tire - 27.5 x 2.35, Tubeless, Folding, Black, Dual, EXO

This semi-slick tire borrows its tread design from the trail version of the Rekon, but with smaller and shorter knobs. Shorter knobs in the center reduce rolling resistance while the higher side knobs provide plenty of grip while cornering those loose-over-hardpacked turns.

Use it as a rear tire paired with a more aggressive front tread, or front and rear for short track racing.

EXO - An extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls. This densely woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tire remains unaffected. EXO protection is great for exceptionally rocky, treacherous trails where the chance of sidewall cuts and abrasions is high.

DUAL-PLY CASING - Two layers of casing material are used from bead-to-bead, providing additional protection and sidewall stiffness for enduro and downhill applications.
